I don’t love melba toast. But I discovered “roasted garlic melba snacks”! These are really good! I hope they are acceptable as a replacement. Let me know.
I’m craving carbs!!!! Can I bake anything? I’ve seen some recipes that use “Almond Flour”. Has anyone heard of that and is it OK to use on Phase 3 of the HCG diet?
I know you should avoid gluten while on the HCG diet. Almond flour isn’t gluten, so in that sense it seems ok, but because almonds are forbidden I would recommend staying away from almond flour until the diet is completed.
I am not in love with Melba Toast, but I do like the Grissini Breadsticks! Yum! Remember though…only 2 STICKS (not servicings) per day!
I’m not craving carbs at all. I’m wondering if I can make any substitutes during this phase of the diet. I don’t want to get to far away from the plan – but it seems like I should be able to sub a vegetable for the carbs. Any thoughts.
