This is my third week on the Hcg Diet and this is our absolute favorite recipe! YUM!

    Stewed Chicken

    – 3.52 oz of ground chicken (or turkey)
    – 2-3 cans of organic stewed tomatoes (or crushed tomatoes if you can’t find stewed – tomatoes that don’t have sugar or corn starch in it)
    – 3-4 garlic cloves, crushed
    – Season with parsley, cumin, basil, rosemary, salt, red pepper flakes.
Brown chicken with seasonings and then add tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes.

So I have been a hermit trying to stay away from get togethers and restraunts. But I’m tired of that, so I decided to have some friends over and make these Buffalo Wings! (My HCG dieting friends of course.) These may not be real wings but if you’ve got a craving, this is a pretty good alternative! Serve them with some cut up cerery. mmmmmmmmm!

    Boneless Hot Wings

    # 100g chicken breast tenders
    # 1/4 c vinegar
    # 1/4 c water
    # 1-2 T cayenne pepper
    # 1-2 T chili powder (adjust as needed)

    1. In small bowl, mix vinegar, water, and cayenne pepper.
    2. Add chicken to marinade and refrigerate for 1-2 hrs.
    3. Preheat oven to 350.
    4. Add chili powder to a small dish and dip chicken in chili powder.
    5. Place on rack in baking pan.
    6. Bake 15-20 mins turning halfway through.
    7. Serve immediately with some homemade buffalo sauce or Frank’s Original Red Hot Sauce.

I went scrapbooking yesterday and you know how you are there for 8 hours or more and they only serve pizza and pop. So I planned ahead and I felt pretty proud of myself.

Pack a little lunch cooler with some shrimp cocktail with lemon instead of sauce. Then include some sliced cucumber with salt and some melba toast.
I kept it cool with an ice pack. No need to feel left out of the pizza party when you have something yummy like shrimp cocktail!

I love coffee! Coffee with cream and sugar!! But now I can’t have the cream and sugar! Not even just cream! Black coffee taste so bitter normally, but I took the recommendation to drink Organo Gold Black Coffee and it was really good!! I was told this is a very healthy coffee but it doesn’t taste healthy to me! It taste like heaven!!
I’m going to tell everyone about it!

I don’t think I will ever need icecream in my house again for the rest of my life! This recipe is the BOMB! It is sooooo satisfying and delicious! By the way the kids love, love, love this too!

    Strawberry Smoothie

    strawberries
    ice
    vanilla cream stevia

    Blend! YUM YUM YUM!!!

    Or try it this way…..

    Orange Julius

    Peeled orange
    Ice
    Vanilla Cream Stevia
    Valencia Orange Stevia

    Blend! Even Yummier!!!!!

No, Really!! If I, later in life, want real icecream, I will go out to Baskin Robin and get a icecream. Not a gallon of icecream!! I will keep frozen berries or fruit in my freezer and stevia will be must in my house! No reason to pig out on ice cream, trying to finish off the carton!!

  7. jooleejules May 11, 2010 at 12:11 pm #

I just tried vanilla cream stevia in my coffee and mmmmmmmmmm…. it was sooo good! Make sure you order that from http://www.myhcgsource.com. It’s a lifesaver!!!

Have you heard of “Chinese 5 Spice”? This is a great spice for the phase 2 of the HCG diet. In fact, it would be great even after the diet.

    Chinese Chicken

    – cubed meat 100 grams (chicken, shrimp, or steak)
    – 5 Tbsp of chicken Broth
    – Cabbage
    – Dash of onion salt, Chinese 5 spice, salt & pepper
    – 1 minced clove of garlic
    – ½ packet of stevia (I left this out)

    • Shred cabbage. Sautee minced garlic in 1 Tbsp of Chicken broth. Add 2 Tbsp of chicken broth and cabbage over medium heat. Remove while still crunchy. Combine 2 Tbsp of chicken broth, onion salt, Chinese 5 spice and stevia. Pour into pan with cubed meat. Stir fry this mixture. Throw cabbage back in for 1-2 minutes until heated.

Today is my first 500 calorie day, can i eat pork with no fat on it…just the pork medallion? My husband is a butcher and he brought home perfectly measured fillet mignon, chicken and pork.
Oh and does anyone know if you can use balsamic vinegar and tamari sauce while on the ph 2!? Help!

  17. Morrisinal September 28, 2010 at 1:34 am #

Pork isn’t allowed, and balsamic vinegar isn’t either. But apple cider vinegar is :)

I have started adding 1/2 c. homemade broth to my chili. Gives it more volume!

Good luck! Be sure to LOAD on your loading days and NOT cheat afterwards! Remember that the following 6 weeks of the diet (Phases 3 & 4) are critical for ongoing success. Diet is not hard to stick to (after the 1st week) with yummy recipes. Gather all you can from the different websites. I have all mine in a word document, and made a recipe binder. It has been invaluable!

Thanks everyone for all the recipes! Im on ph 2 day 5, not including my gorge days in which I gained 2 lbs but now Ive lost 7:) I have a recipe question, why is it ok to use onion powder ect but not real onions in the recipes?
    Thanks,
    Melissa

    • Fly Girl February 6, 2011 at 12:35 pm #

Don’t know…but it sure adds to the flavor!

    • Shari March 29, 2011 at 6:00 pm #

I think it’s because it’s got a ton of carbs (via sugar) in it. About as much as an orange (15 grams) for a medium sized onion. I am experimenting with eating it instead of a fruit since it seems like a close exhange.

  30. Tee November 9, 2010 at 6:42 pm #

Hey there hun! LOVE THE RECIPES! I am on the day 2 of loading. Are these recipes good for Phase 2?

    • Fly Girl January 14, 2011 at 2:44 pm #

I have used all of these recipes for Phase 2 AND continue to use them on Maint. and beyond…the only difference is that I am able to add losts of veggies!

I’m so excited about this site, diet, and the drops. This is my second round on HCG and I am having awesome results. I have lost 21lbs in 11 days!!!! No Joke. My starting weight on 1-2-11 was 307 and yesterday’s weight was 1-14-11 286! What I did different was change my attitude and approach. I also added Biotin and L-carnitine supplements. I started a ladies forum of HCG dieters here in Chicago and we are tracking what works best in P2 and P3. My goal is 40lbs and at this rate, I plan to hit it. My period started yesterday and I had no lost. I will not drop today or tomorrow as those are my heaviest days. I expect to be on target by 1-17. Stay Tuned.

    • Fly Girl February 2, 2011 at 11:26 am #

So excited for you and looking forward to the updates!

    • Denise March 17, 2011 at 5:55 pm #

Wow, 21lbs in 11days…that’s awesome! Wish I could be that lucky just on day 2 of VLCD. Your the first person I’ve seen have those kind of results. Anything different you did? Please share.

  32. Sweetie March 23, 2011 at 4:38 pm #

Are there any other vegetables you can eat besides the ones on the protocol diet I received with the drops I’m on day three

    • admin March 25, 2011 at 10:04 am #

The vegetables listed are taken directly from Dr. Simeons’ paper “Pounds and Inches”, and as such, they are the vegetables recommended for the diet.
