Not just another weight loss program – Does the hCG diet plan  work or not?

The hcg diet protocol has become quite popular as more and more people are discovering its effective use. There are two different viewpoints circulating around the Internet as to whether the hCG diet protocol written by Dr. Simeons in the 1950’s works or doesn’t work.

This may be true, we really don’t know for sure. But supporters of the hCG diet protocol swear up and down that the diet is their answer to achieving their goals and there is something about Dr. Simeons diet that works. It could be the lower calorie intake, it could be the combination of the foods used. We just don’t know the answer.

Most medical professionals agree that sticking to a 500 calorie diet is not safe for your overall health and imposes dangers. I would want to stick to a more safer approach. So I recommend that you modify the original diet plan and change it so that you are consuming at least 800 to 1200 calories a day. Yes, this may slow down the speed at which you lose weight, but it is better to be safe than sorry with your health. Stick to the foods that Dr. Simeons uses in his protocol. The only thing that I would do different is to double up on the amounts you eat from the diet. The recipes are great tasting and they are low fat and low sugar. The diet will have you eating the right foods.

The second thing I would change is the hCG drops.
