I have been getting a lot of questions about what to eat on phase 3 of the hCG diet. Phase 3 is the maintenance phase of the hCG Protocol. It consists of two three weeks periods to help you keep the weight off and reset your hypothalamus gland. You start phase 3 after you have been off the HCG diet drops for 72 hours. At this point, you should start by recording your weight. The goal to make this work is to stay within two pounds of your last weight on the last day of Phase 2. That can be two pounds over or two pounds under. Those people who do not do Hcg diet protocol phase 3 will regain the weight they have just lost and will have to start all over again in most cases. If you lose more than two pounds you will need to increase your calorie take, if you gain more than two pounds, then do a apple day or steak only day*. It is very important to stay in the range.
First Three Week Peroid of Hcg Phase 3
During this period you will increase your daily calorie intake from 500 a day to 1500 – 2000 a day. This is a no sugar or carb part of the Hcg diet. You can eat what you want, and when you want, just avoid sugar and starches. Make sure you still weight yourself every morning so you can adjust if you need to.
Second Three Weeks of HCG Phase 3
Now that you have been eating more foods and your body has adjusted to them, you can start by very gradually add starches and sugars back into your life. A little warning here, do this in small quantities and let your body adjust to your new eating style. Always continue to do your morning weighing and adjust your calories intake if you get out of range.
Suppose I Still Want To Lose More Weight?
After you complete the six weeks of hCG Maintenance, then you can start another round starting with the gorge days. You will be doing the diet all over again. Remember, you can also stay on the diet anywhere from 21 to 42 days before starting phase 3.

If you don’t know what the steak day is, it will help you lose 2 pounds real fast. You have to skip breakfast and lunch, but have plenty to drink, then in the evening have a Hugh steak for dinner along with an apple or tomato. That’s it. Have fun with the hCG diet!
